Just posted this on a couple of United message board,Anybody think it's a good idea,Is anybody members of Wednesday boards etc,if so feel free to cut and paste this and put it on.

For those who are interested, please dont shower me with abuse
i am only a fan and just trying to drum up a bit of interest.

Sheffield Eagles can confirm that their Carnegie Challenge Cup Round 4 game Home against wigan Warriors will take place on Saturday 17th April at Bramall Lane, the home of Sheffield United FC with a 4pm kick off

Would be nice to see a decent turnout,Wigan expected to bring 3/4k fans,They are currently top of the superleague and it should be a cracker,Eagles been surviving on 800 - 1500 crowds for the last 10 years so would be nice to see a healthy crowd with plenty of Sheffield people there to support,Prices arnt out yet but the talk is of roundabout £10.00 Adult mark and obviously lower for concession,1st league game is also at home to Featherstone on the 11th April,

I've replied to it trying to get people to come too, no real anti RL/Bramall Lane comments either yet surprisingly...

Widnes played in pink last night to do with testicular cancer (I can say testicular on the forum can't I if not the mods can b*lls)

Seriously we ought to be doing something similar - maybe the Keighley televised game. Have a charity like Bluebell Wood or the Radio Sheffield kids scanner appeal.

Maybe we could get a charity strip and auction the shirts off?

I think an iniative could be to offer a season ticket holder of Sheff Wed,Sheff UTD and Rotherham United a FREE one off match,Make it the same game, then follow it up with an offer ticket for a forthcoming game for a fiver etc,Even if you get a 100 coming regualry after the offers it will be worth it.

Some interest on the message board,One made the point of a discount for SUFC season ticket holders,if advertised on the SUFC website and stuff we could really tap into it.

Sensible question, what has the club actually done to properly market the move to SUFC?
