The RFL have donated £20,000 to help us overcome our disapointment at being denied relegation. We have therefore signed Nick Fozzard as a community worker and player and George Flanagan from Batley. |

All the clubs have now received their money. Most of us will be using it to help clear debts from last year. astoundingly, our neighbours are using this money on ground improvements. Surely if they don't need this money for debts it should be returned and shared out among the more deserving clubs. |

If anything it should be clubs who are running up debts shouldnt get any help. |

Now I have read your post I think you are absolutely right. Good man. Heard recently the RFL have a substantial amount in the Ground improvement fund. Trouble is only about 9 clubs own their own grounds. Should clubs even in the mire get money or just clubs like Batley who run an even ship? Trouble is with the situation at our club our newish ground is never going to be finished. Signing the right type of player is more important. |
