Dewsbury Books always had a good selection of books about Rugby League. But with it's imminent closure the manager of WH Smith has decided to fill the gap left and increase the number of books about the greatest game.
Two books now in there are "No Sand Dunes In Featherstone. West Yorkshire Rugby League Memories". This includes interviews with over seventy people: ex-players, referees, club officials, journalists and supporters. Among them are Alan Bradford, Morris and Harry Child, Cora and Len Hayley, Sam Morton, Bernard Shooman, Mick Sullivan and Harry Waring all who have close links with Dewsbury.
Also recently published is "Braver Than All The Rest. A Mother Fights For Her Son" which Ray French has described as a moving and excellent novel.
Also in there are the biographies of Neil and Peter Fox and my latest novel "One Autumn", more details below.
Only small numbers were delivered to start with so if you can't find them, they must have been sold. Ask Paula to order some more.
