Having just about blanked the last two performances out of my mind, now really looking forward to the league opener against the Slugs tomorrow. Neither side have exactly inspired up to now, but hopefully we can raise our game significantly. Good luck to Jermaine in his first game in charge. |

Nobody to lead the team around the pitch, too many dropped balls and knock ons from both sides. Hemel won because they had a bit more flair and are a bigger side. Most conference sides would have beat both teams. |

Yes. I am struggling to remember whether I have seen a semi-pro game of a worse standard. Hemel were pretty poor and still put 34 past us. It is clear that unless some layers of the requisite standard are brought in that this will be a very long season. At present I can't see us getting more than two or three wins. |
