Steve McNamara To Speak At Capital Challenge Luncheon
London Skolars are delighted to announce that England Rugby League Coach Steve McNamara will be the guest speaker at the 2012 Capital Challenge luncheon.
Steve McNamara is the England Rugby League Coach, a role he started in April 2010 whilst Head Coach at Bradford Bulls. Whilst originally from Hull, where he played for seven years, it was at Bradford that he made his name as a full-back and excellent goal kicker, playing a key role in their Super League win in 1996. He represented his country and Great Britain as a player.
After playing spells at Huddersfield and Wakefield, he joined the coaching staff at Bradford in 2003, taking over as Head Coach in 2006, finishing that role in 2010.
This autumn saw McNamara’s side beat the current World Cup holders New Zealand, before a determined performance saw defeat at the hands of Australia
The 8th annual Capital Challenge takes place at the Honourable Artillery Company’s grounds in the City of London on Friday 27th January. Skolars will be playing the newly re-branded London Broncos and it will be the first public viewing of the new Broncos kit.
