oh dear where do you start......skolars looked like a bunch of blokes getting together for a bit of a knock around on a Sunday afternoon. There is no passion within the team, to be fair there where a couple of players putting themselves on the line whilst others just seemed to be there to make up the numbers. School boy errors in passing and handling, flappy tackling. I know that a few of the players got injured at the Blackpool 9's last week, but the squad should be large enough to be able to cope. Rochdale found a weak spot early on and capitalized on it. The right side leaked tries. The Skolars team need to play with some fire in them, we saw a few sparks yesterday, but like always these sparks came to nothing. How many sets of six did they complete?
We can always blame the ref and his assistants for not being far, but thats life, you have to just get on with the game. The most comical part of the game was at the end - after a few handbags were swung about the ref sin binned Austen....a case of mistaken identity I think...as he was not involved in the powder puff posing..... :? ....ho hum....jolly jaunt to Blackpool next week.....just hope the sun is out

Was the Rochdale defeat the nadir of the season?

A complete review of the whole club should be done....management, coaching staff, player recruitment.....in all honestly who would want to play for a club that is geting belted each week.
And to add the new GM has just rsigned also.....what is going????

Well the last couple of games he hasn't been picked, untill a crappy little 9's tournament in blackpool where from what i have found out that he got poked in the eye by his own team mate.
Resulting him to attend hospital on a daily basis.

Hopefully he gets picked for blackpool seems like they could do with a bit and cover on either wing.

I agree with Captin Jack, the whole committee should be reviewed or even new members with more of an understanding should be brought in.

Oh dear
Dread to think of the impression that people will get if they happen to roll up on CC Final Eve. It's easy for me to criticise when I watch from the relative safety of TW2, but I fear for the Skolars at the moment. Both the remainder of the season and especially for recruitment for next year as well. Who wants to watch or even play in a team getting spanked week in week out. If I were involved in any way shape of form at Skolars I would be asking for help from TW2 now......swallow your pride and get assistance or you will end up (if possible) in an even worse position sooner rather than later.

I just believe the time has come for the coffers to be opened and good players to be bought in.
The club needs a review from top to bottom. Make the right employment choices through the coach, backroom staff and off-field management.
The club has done so well off the field within the community that now is the time for the club to succeed on the field.
Juniors want to play for a home team that has a great competitive winning culture. It is no good just turning up to make the numbers in the league, we need to put our stamp on the league with positive attractive footy.
This starts by having the right people in place to create the winning culture.
I hope the club really takes this all on board cause this club has gone 2 steps backwards in my opinion and some very big changes need to be made in order to get back on track.
I dont want us to be the laughing stock of the league anymore.
