The touch-judge (Grundhill) in the game today, the old guy with the limp - how on earth does he qualify as fit enough to officiate in Super League.

He made a few good decisions today, but that isn't the point. He's surely not fit enough ?

We've had him a couple of times this year - runs like Forest Gump!

Certainly does. Not too bad on his decisions, but his fitness is terrible.

Yes, at least someone who knows they are there to officiate not just make up the numbers.

There's been much criticism of the referees this season but not helped by the ineffective touch judges. Some of the newer younger guys seem afraid of their own shadow. Good to see this guy getting involved.

Gone are the days when the touch judge was running on for every incident. Miked up these days but communication with the referee seems sadly lacking - through incompetance or intimidation from some quarters? Another issue that needs addresing for next season.

It is great though to see so many young guys (and girls) taking up the challenge.

I agree. I don't think the main problem has been the man in the middle this season, more the TJ's.

You can't really blame for penalising, as most of the time they get the call's right. Its down to poor discipline really.

Most of the questionable decisions this season have mostly been forward passes and off-sides. The amount times teams have got away with forward passes against us this season is ridiculous.

Gouldy - amount of times forward passes have been allowed for and against all teams this season is laughable - is it in the law book or not any more?
