I thought things didn't look too good , I wouldn't imagine Moss would stay in his role with the rugby club but and just finish his connections with the football team.
I like toast as much as anyone , but not for breakfast , dinner and tea.
He won't walk away, theres to much money to be made out of the Wrexham Village project (student flats, on the ground). Trouble is he's alienating the locals, and he won't enter into any form of discussion with the fans whatsoever.
As you know, I'm not the new franchise's biggest fan BUT...
This is unfolding in a similar way to Leighton Samuel's (the Cru's first benefactor) original foray into rugby franchises. 1. Read and take seriously, internet message board postings. 2. Aggrandise oneself and ones financial contribution. 3. Claim death threats. 4. Call police. 5. Threaten to leave. 6. Try and silence criticism. This appears to be where things are.
This is what happens next:
7. Fans rebel and a sizeable minority boycott. 8. Attendances get embarrasingly small. 9. Income drops. 10. Financial burden on benefactor increases. 11. Benefactor criticises fans. 12. Loop points 1 to 11 approx three times. 13. Benefactor gets disillusioned. Fans get disillusioned. Sport governing body get disillusioned. 14. Benefactor cuts losses and offloads franchise to anyone who will pay up (often governing body) EITHER: 15a New benefactor makes big changes to aggrandise himself and p155e5 off existing fanbase (ergo fans lose) OR: 15b Governing body cuts losses and closes franchise / awards to someone else (ergo fans lose) 16. Original benefactor makes claims he expected something else whilst heaping all blame on new owner / old supporters.
I've seen this twice now. Deal with it in whatever way you can as soon as possible. maybe a meeting between FC supporters club and Moss. Because if the egotist oligarch carries on down this path, history could repeat itself as regards FC and Crusaders is too close to Moss to not catch some flying shiit too.

Unfortunatly, Moss isn't in the business of meeting with us common fans. To him we're just an inconveniance.
In all honesty, Moss won't do anything to harm Crusaders intentionally, he will protect that investment, but I do fear where he might go with FC, so the whole situation is poop.
I hope you are right (despite some earlier comments made by my darker half - calmed down some now)
Moss is a far more successful businessman than Samule (sic) and though he seems arrogant and capricious, you'd like to think he'd more sense than to walk away from big investments.
But speaking as a reactionary sort of person myself, his shiitting on WFC will affect the gates of Crusaders, I guarantee it. Only 5-10% perhaps, but it puts a greater financial burden on the egotist.

SOMEBODY SAID that it couldn’t be done But he with a chuckle replied That “maybe it couldn’t,” but he would be one Who wouldn’t say so till he’d tried. So he buckled right in with the trace of a grin On his face. If he worried he hid it. He started to sing as he tackled the thing That couldn’t be done, and he did it!
