Just seen this news. Thackeray's a bit of a gamble, but if he can recapture his old form, well worth it. Nice to see the squad beginning to fill out a bit. |

Good luck with Thackeray,you will need it.........keep him out of the bookies and pubs and get his old form back...he may go alright for you....you have now got 2 ex FC players who were both booted out for being part of the drinking culture at Hull. |

I think if anyone is going to get the best from Thackray it might be Noble. It might be a gamble signing him but as mentioned, if he can recapture a bit of his old form and get the mentality right he'll be an asset. |

Not so sure Noble got the best out of many Wigan players during his time with the Pies. |
