Visitd Bridgend for the first time yesterday and have come back with a much better impression of having RL teams in Wales than before I arrived. I have been one of the biggest critics of Celtic's rise to SL and still feel that you should have done another few years in the National Leagues, but there it is....all of that is not the fans fault and you have now got to make the most of the opportunity you have been given. I hope you can attract more fans when you move to Newport and I will definately be coming back down next season, I now understand why we should get behind RL in Wales. Good luck for next season!

thanks mate, nice to hear from someone with an open mind. glad you had a nice trip and i think you will enjoy coming to newport next year. hopefully your teams visit will get the crowd it deserves. personally of the all teams we should be learning from huddersfield is top of the list, the way you guys have stuck by your team and turned things round is inspiring. good luck in the play offs.

I went to the Celtic game yesterday and want to say what a great set of fans you have.

I talked to a good few and offered good luck for next season. It is not quantity that counts but quality and your fans were a credit to the team.

I talked to 4 blokes from Leith :?: who were great and evne the drunks behind the posts were a laugh.

Good luck for next year. definitely the friendliest fans i have found in SL.

Glad to see you all enjoyed. With regards the crowd, a few petty idiots dragged us down on Saturday by cheering for Hudds and booing our players, so apologies for them. That crowd was by far our worst this season, and mainly because the Bridgend media have deserted us since we announced our temporary move to Newport. A few of the dickheads claim they don't watch the club because Leighton Samuel owns us, but the same people still don't go to watch Bridgend Ravens Union team despite Samuel not owning them for 5 years. [/rant]

Bring on the move to Newport.
