ok so here we are now 1/3 of the way into the season. some of the guys will be getting tired sore etc and need a rest. realisticly speaking there are a few games that we have zero chance of winning. Leeds etc.
would it not be a good idea to take an understrength team with lots of fringe players, and possibly some of the better 18-19 year olds to use as interchanges, in order to get them the experience they need.
Whilst i'm happy with the development we've made this season one of the few that are i admit, i can't help but worry about the lack of Uk team eligable players.
From what I've heard from within the club the problem seems to be that Dixon doesn't want to change the squad around much, except when injuries occure. So an idea like that probably wouldn't fly with him at all. It would be interesting to see how a team of younger lads went though. Something needs to be done anyway.
