More to the point , will the Crusaders fan base follow their club [ or at least whatever part of the club will remain ] in the Championships if they take that option ?
If you're all just going to go SL only , then not much point in setting up in the lower tier
So are you RL fans , or are you SL fans ?

SOMEBODY SAID that it couldn’t be done But he with a chuckle replied That “maybe it couldn’t,” but he would be one Who wouldn’t say so till he’d tried. So he buckled right in with the trace of a grin On his face. If he worried he hid it. He started to sing as he tackled the thing That couldn’t be done, and he did it!

I go to about 2, maybe 3, Rugby League games a weekend as it is now, as I just love the game of Rugby League, so it won't be a change for me. I'll support Crusaders in whatever league they're in, as so will many others. Well, our core base, which is the Supporters Club will follow wherever they're playing.
If they fold, which is 50/50 at the mo, probabaly more in favour of folding or there's not even a pheonix clyb or one starting very low down, then I'll be getting a season ticket for Warrington and commit to them like I have to Crusaders.
Love my Rugby League.
The game will survive in North Wales. Too much work and effort has been put in, to let it go to waste. We have an appetite for this sport and we'll make it work.
You're likely to see me in a Crusaders shirt, in a Warrington game or a Catalans game.

If Cru drop a league I'll still follow them. Will still watch SL games for ex players but ultimately I support Cru first. For reasons I don't wish to discuss I wouldn't watch Scorpions so if there is no Cru I'd probably just watch on TV and pick a few games to go to.

Have no fear that there won't be a following for the Crusaders be it in the Champ or Champ One. The seed has been sown in many who haven't followed RL before and have taken RL to their hearts. Yes there'll be many who still follow the Cru wherever, just be tricky for some if there happens to be a game at the LSV!
Be at Widnes tomorrow with the Leythers and at Wrexham with the Cru on Friday.

I think our Supporters Club base at least would support us no matter where we were playing and in whatever league we're in, but in the Championship I think we'd be able to get 1,000, which is pretty good going.

As long as we stay within any budget limitations and be self sufficent I am sure we can match crowd sizes of the likes of Sheffield, Dewsbury and Hunslet and build from there.

Crusaders would easily better the likes of those clubs at home. Also these 3 clubs (amongst others in the Championship) have just about zero away support coming west of the Pennines. I am certain Cru fans would do better than that going east. Leigh's away support is always good and a visit to North Wales would be a great day out. Must have been at least 1500 Leigh fans at the Stobart today adding to their SL coffers.
