.
I really don't mind if the portuguese don't like us poms.
Being disliked by one insignificant nation is a lot better than being disliked by the rest of the world like you oz-tray-leunz!!!!
So jog along mayte,I think I can here a dingo eating your baby!!!

A hundred plus years and you've not once topped that figure at The Shay this season, even against other aspirant SL clubs from the heartlands.
CC can sustain a business with TV money. Sky want them because Welsh union fans take a passing interest in CC games, so Sky sells more adspace on hte back of a bigger TV audience. Or: put it another way... Leigh, Fax, Widnes, don't add a single viewer to the Sky audience, whereas CC do. That's why they are in SL in the first place.
I have criticised the franchise process extensively, and I'm a firm believer in P&R, but your simple economics are simply wrong.
your attendance figs above mean very little (no promotion for 3yrs puts fans off blah blah bla....) but I guess you know that.
As for economics, would you invest in a CC franchise?
You wouldn't get up the stairs in dragons den, and if you did prophetus would laugh at you.

They were staying and working in the country illegally, hardly what I call law abiding.
The more right wing amongst us (which I am most definately not) might even say they've been denying the opportunity for a British player to earn a living in Super League through their illegal employment.
What i'm trying to say is the law of the land is the law of the land regardless of whether you're a farm labourer earning minimum wage, or a professional sportsman earning a £1500 a week.
celtic will and should stay the course of the franchise, as unfair as it seemed to other clubs in the NRL for them to be admitted into the super league in the first place, it would also be unfair for them to be rejected so soon without at least staying the full distance,
I originally would of like to see them earn their way into SL as I am old fashioned beliefs that the relation /promotion should still exist,
but it would be stupidity to allow the club to dropped because of this fiasco, unfair to the fans especially as they have done nothing wrong and have fetch nothing but welcome to the SL
an extension to the league would be far better but then it would accommodate all the clubs that are push for the next franchise,
I can only hope that your club recovers for the next season and continues it upwards development

Barry - Just showing your ignorance - didnt you know that Portugal are our biggest FRIENDS - unlike Spain, France & Germany who have fought against us. Portuguese love the Brits - our bigges ally.
Whilst on History did you know a Penal Colony was set up in your Country in 1770 - why not look up your Family Tree?

I'm afraid they have to go.
Good point
