1) only have an empty ground when crusaders, quins and catalans come! Our average gate is around 7k (which should be better!!) in a ground that holds 10k, 70% occupancy, +30% more than SL franchise rules.
even your team didn't manage to turn up in time for the kick off at Wrexham, our team had fallen asleep hours before your team showed up.
Just my twopennorth .. but ..
That was the same day that Rhinos played Warrington and there was an England wendyball game on pre-kick-off'
I was stuck for around three hours on the M62 because some loon was threatening to jump off a bridge . There were lots of Rhinos and Wakey fans stuck in that jam . We were stuck so long that we wouldn't have made Wire until around half-time . We turned round and went back to HQ and watched the game in the supporters club . I believe that is why the Wildcats were late for the game .

Most of the Wakefields fans made it to the game on time, it was the team coach behind them that got stuck on the motorway.
kinleycat is refering to the amount of crusaders fans at Wakefields home game with the Crusaders. Apart from the win, the highlight of the game was some loud female wakey fan continually, calling our team the " australian crusaders " if we had been at the KC or Headingly fair dinkum but Wakeys back line that day was like the united nations.
Young Murphy had a good game, is he still a wakefield player?
