Two issues arise . We did very well in terms of territory and possession ,but could not score . The second question is where were Jullien and Mcilorum . There may be a third issue as to whether Smith is good enough ,but I shall leave that for now . We will never get ref. more pro us again this season.

I have never liked the Smith signing and I will leave my final judgement until I have seen a few more games but I do not think he is going to be good for us.

Langi should not be in the centre, his defence is comically bad. Worst defender I have ever seen in the super league.

As always gonna take a while for us to warm up I think. Lets just hope we can scrape a few wins before we hit our stride.

I can think of worse. Morgan Escare,Cyril Stacul ,Vincent Duport but above all the very fast winger who scored 4 tries in his debut against Widnes ,but who was found wanting in defence. What was his name again?Damien ?????
The absence of Broughton is another issue .Is he still injured or has he got injured again ? If we do not beat Huddersfield-badly beaten at home to Salford-we may be in for a first half of the season just as bad as last year's

Broughton is still coming back from his ACL. Just gone back into full training I believe. Still be a while.

Think Guasch decided there was no one suitable on offer and has left the cash to make mid season signings like Kenny Edwards was last year.
