Starts on Monday. This is ridiculous. The grand final was a month ago, players are still on international duty. Next season is way too long. |

Are Catalans linked with anyone? The squad is looking abit short... Tomkins, Whitley and Smith coming in but you've lost Walsh, Duport, Anderson, Drinkwater, Thornley and Yaha (some big names there). |

I think the recruitment is done. We were linked with an nrl winger but Whitely would seem to be the person to replace that speculation. |

Catalans has three top class players who can play full back (Gigot, Mead, Tomkins), three top class players who can play wing (Broughton, Tierney, Mead), three top class players who can play centre (Gigot, Williame, Mead), with Benjamin Pomeroy as back up, and three top class players who can play in the halves (Smith, Langi, Tomkins), with Lucas Albert as backup in the halves. So unless there is a catastrophic run of injuries in one position, Catalans back line is covered, even though I am no fan of Benjamin Pomeroy. |
