Simon for Bousquet, then?

Also, 100% records are over-rated. Never wanted one anyway.

Wire will start as favourites with home advantage and fewer forced player omissions. Bosc needs to stand up as play organiser if Dragons are to have a chance.

On what grounds are the appeal? The hit was late and dangerous that could have caused serious injury. I have a feeling that the RFL disciplinary will uphold their decision as a warning to others (unfortunately for Catalan). Could the ban he increased as a frivolous appeal?

No idea on what grounds. Presumably his as yet clean record in LER and Super League footy, but I don't know. Yes it could be increased.

Without commenting on this individual case, as I've still not seen the incident, I would be surprised to see it reduced. The RFL have an opportunity to mark out the lines on this one, an opportunity I hope they take as player safety should be paramount. If they water this one down, they're making a rod for their own back for all future cases.
