Intresting how two people see the same game, our Correspondent seems adamant that Toulouse were on the wrong end of the ref in that game but had you listened to the Radio Cumbria commentary you would have thought very different. However I know what John Cox on Radio Cumbria is like, 'haven players must have gunned the opposition down for any penalty given against 'haven to be just in Coxys eyes.

I'm fairly certain our correspondent isn't entirely neutral on the subject, though he is a former RL referee so generally knows what he's on about in this regard.

Im sure he does, but still, its amusing how two pairs of eyes can see such a different game sometimes isnt it?

On the contrary John, Mark is actually diplomatic in his report. The refereeing was beyond belief. My Australian friend who does not care much about Toulouse or French RL was dismayed by the referee's one sided decisions. Frankly, I don't want to talk about it, and I only write here to make clear that Mark did not exaggerate anything. With such an uneven playing field, the participation of Toulouse in Championship is a waste of time and resources.
Toulouse was going to beat Whitehaven, and I can fairly confidently predict that without artificial assistance the Haven team we saw saturday is heading for relegation.
