Post subject:  Why do Catalans start so bad?
Catalans finished last season as one of the in form teams, steaming into the playoffs and almost taking care of Leeds to reach the Grand Final.

Yet they start this season whimpering against Wakefield, Quins and Saints. It was the same last season I remember, a terrible start and then a sharp upturn in form. What is the cause of this? Lack of professional approach to pre-season? The weather? Or do they just time the season so the form comes when it counts?

They need more Pre-Season games against SL opposition! Hands up for a pre-season games in the south of France.. As I thought :SHIFTY:

They played Castleford this year in pre-season, and lost. To be honest I just think they need a better coach.

They were hardly hammered at Wakey and at Quins away they played with 12 men and to lose against the saints with only 12 men is not exactly panic stations. One thing for sure they will finish above the Crusaders :wink:
