...Now I don't profess to be an expert in RL matters yet. But this guy never seems to have a good game when I see him. |

Had a couple of decent games on the wing after being shunted out there, but was pretty awful on Saturday. Suffice to say we were expecting better. |

He just doesnt look big enough, even for a winger. I hope his contract is purely for one season. |

We wish. Hope he learns how to play RL after a year in the comp. To be fair I am not impressed by any of our NRL signings under Walters, except maybe Ryles. |

With an emphasis on the gone. Also, Bird was not Walters' signing, the club moved for him when they heard the Bradford deal had fallen through, if Walters was worth it for his foreign signings he would have beaten Bradford to him. (+ there is no place for wifebeaters in our squad). |

No matter what he has done in his personal life the guy oozes class on a rugby field, FACT. Perhaps (and I suspect they were) Bradford were offering him stupid money to and be their star signing for 2009. It was more important for us to sign a replacement for Wilson and Chan, in which we signed an NRL Grand Final winner and an Australian international. Hardly mugs eh? |

It was Bell, and you can see the rational, Wilson was a good solid defensive centre, Bell had built his reputation and became an Origin player for his defence. For whatever reason he hasnt quite lived up to his reputation. |
