Al-Jazeera, the new TV group which "stole" football rights in France to Canal +, with their petrodollars, annouced that they have signed a TV contrat to broadcast the Catalans Dragons' games, and some others Super League games.

According to our newspaper L'Indépendant, Al-Jazeera wants to make rugby league an important sport on their two TV channels, with football (like Canal+ did in France with Football AND - and only! - rugby union).

First game will be broadcast this summer

Edit : 3-years-deal apparently, and Al-Jazeera also want to broadcast some NRL games.
