Scott Dureau is starting his coaching career as an assistant coach for the young halves at the Newcastle Knights.
He has a fine crop of young halves to work with. 18 year olds Jack Cogger and Brock Lamb are currently training with firstgrade and have played for NSW and Australia at all levels up to under 18s level. 17 year old Brendan O'Hagan has played for NSW under 16s and is in the current under 18s squad, and 15 year old Tex Hoy was in the NSW under 16s squad in 2015 a year young for the experience and should play under 16s this year.

Fantastic news. Very happy for him.

He doesnt really have to do much coaching with that group of players does he. Really think Cam Smith, JT and Slater need telling what to do?
