So where does this leave us? Greenshields, Bell, Mogg, McGuire, Carlaw, Johnson, Sa and now Walker. That either highlights the lack of French backs coming through or suggests we're stifling opportunities. Probably a bit of both, but even with Bell's less than stellar 2009, I don't see another club with such a fine clutch of imports.
Goodmorning JD, matey you know the score , we help spread the French talent and in return for a GF appearance .
i was a little upset about Duport, the last couple of seasons for me he bulked up too much for a winger and is too slow to turn. Did,t see Bel break the line much last season .
I would like to see casey back at 6 more this year and Kane get more of a go , push Mogg to the centres with SA and Baile wing with Bell bench or Baile as an impact player, as he can play hooker centre and wing .
all up, this will be a very strong team, IF they hit the ground running and win their first games at home and do not have a run into the semis as this yr , as they might not have as much luck beating the Saints away this time later dave

I think signing Walker and having a three-quarter line with three overseas players in it is a tacit admission that Raguin and Baile aren't genuine centres (shocking revelation, I know) and better suited to a role in the back row. If so, there probably isn't another club with as many back rowers as we've got. And Carlaw will have to play at prop for the bulk of the season rather than his preferred position on the wing.
no mater who you are , you would,nt want to be fighting for a backrow spot with the Dragons next year
i feel we,ve mised speed off of the mark over he past couple of seasons , Raguin, Baile , even Mogg and Bell don,t have that , Walker does. I hope he enjoys his footy and lifestyle here, inturn we,ll get the best out of him .
later dave

This is true, and you can add Ricky's trademark complaint about centres with decent footwork (e.g. Gleeson) running rings round our converted forwards in the centres.

My first post under this new format, it is a regular complaint of mine, and was particularly frustrating against the big two, as up front we had them beat
