not to get into the winter/summer debate, however one real bug bare of mine when we were affiliated to NWC was the poor updating of their very old fashioned website.....surprise, surprise, no web updates since May, with no where on the web re fixtures, league structure etc, considering that a new season is about to start then that for me is shoddy :SNOOTY:

The RFL have really set the bench mark in amateur rugby league this season with the NWML website and the the clubs themselves now interacting through twitter.

The NWC need to get out of the dark ages and move with the times....not just with the website!

Good luck to all those in the winter league I hope its a success.

A month before the start of the last NWC season I offered to help set up and manage a site using Pitchero or embeding league republic into a redesigned site but Neil Girvin didn't want any help. Says it all really

Widnes Tigers 12-16 Leigh East B
Golborne Parkside 48-6 Rylands Sharks.

Think they were the only 2.

Having a summer and winter club was always doomed to failure with significant overlaps in the season. Madness.

Wouldn't have known them even if I asked their names, he just said some at Little Hulton, Caddishead etc until the end of the summer season.

There has already been lots of 24-0 this season but do you think now that the winter season has started there will be more 24-0 as the winter players have gone back to there winter teams so maybe some summer teams may struggle for numbers? or have gone winter them self's as they don't like the summer league
