Any news on how the pitches are holding up?

Ours is covered in snow but not really deep, and a few clearish patches. Thing is, there's a -5 freeze forecast tonight (it's -3 outside right now!). Some rain forecast but not till tomorrow night.

I actually think it may go ahead. We're all geared to get down early tomorrow and clear the markings if need be... :)

Hindley v Chorley

Game Off. Points conceded, Hindley 18-0 Chorley.

Not sure if it would have been played anyway to be honest pitch was solid this afternoon when i walked across.

Bury v Wigan, game off.

One end of pitch has a load of ice, but the main problem is a truck has obviously been rally driving on the pitch and left deep ruts that have frozen into deadly weapons. Where the grass is level it'll take a stud fine, but there's just too much damage.

Rrreeeaaaalllllyyyyy pssed off.

Actually some of the best rugby we've played all year! And very funny...very cold, but very, very funny.

God knows what the local press photographer thought of us!
