Blackburn Knights v Bury Broncos
Bolton Mets v Rochdale Cobras
Newton Storm v Eccleston Lions
St Helens Wild Boar v Hindley
Westhoughton Lions v Waterhead
Wigan Bulldogs v Chorley Panthers

Any ideas?????

I'm not sure Bank Quay are quite the force they were a couple of years ago. A lot of familiar faces seem to be getting older together and although they still have some 'grunt' up front I'm not sure they have the pace out wide they used to have. Still a good side though and it will be a good barometer for Hindley I'd say.

Will put my neck on the line and say we'll beat Newton. Had 2 good training sessions this week.

Blackburn 22-34 Bury

Lots of mistakes from both sides, some big hits and a bit of niggle, all in all a good fun game.

Well done Bury!! :)

And I think that may be Blackburn's last game if rumour proves correct.

From what I gather it's just numbers. They had a decent enough team out yesterday but it seems a couple had come out of retirement to make up numbers. Real shame, good set of lads, Blackburn RU is a good set-up and a RL team up there is a bonus.

I hope this isnt the case, wouldbe a shame to loose a team so early in the season
