1) yes Cronus the mini bus at your place was their idiots 2) the ginger winger I believe was the one who got red for kicking a grounded defensless man in the face 3) I doubt any of their players have the interlect to turn a computer on to read this.
The ginger scores winger wasn't sent off, it was the other winger and the lad who started at hooker who got their matching orders. Fitton do have a few decent players to be fair, but will end up being another team spoilt by idiots on and off the pitch.

Bury 38 - 26 Orrell
Pleased to get the win today over a previously undefeated Orrell. Several first choice players still missing and a bit light on the bench but several lads stepped up today and took us forward. Orrell have several big units who run and tackle hard but tire quickly, and a few good runners, but I didn't think we were ever in danger of losing after about 30 minutes, only strings of errors and penalties kept putting us on the back foot to concede points. When we played territory and kept our game simple we controlled the game well.
With Wigan dropping a point at Widnes it's starting to get interesting at the top!

Ashton A 10-42 New Springs It'd be very easy to blame missing players etc for this but that'd be very unfair on New Springs who picked up every dropped ball and capitalised on every mistake we made today. We just didn't turn up & NS played very well. No histrionics from us, just the hard work to get us back to where we need to be.

Wigan will certainly feel they got out jail yesterday. One of their props inexplicably booted one of our lads on the floor but only got a yellow. 10-10 at HT, Tigers took a 12-10 lead going into the last 20, but then conceded a poor try from a length of the field effort an the dogs went 16-12 up with ten left, Tigers scored a good try and converted to hold a 2 point advantage only for the ref to give a penalty to Wigan after the ball came loose, which their player missed with the goal kick, but the ref awarded the goal!
Feels like a loss to us but we feel we have played the 3 best sides away now and hope to notch a few wins in the next few weeks and climb the league.

Disappointing day for us. First Bank Quay Bulls rang to concede against our 2nds at 1.30. Why they couldn't have figured that out earlier I don't know but extremely frustrating.
Then our 1sts we went down 10-8 at Ashton Bears. Couldn't get there but believe neither team played particularly well. Missed our final conversion to miss out on a point - kicking has cost us very dearly in every point dropped this year. From what I hear we tried too much one-up rugby down the middle and far too many errors and penalties in the 2nd half killed us off. We always score points shipping the ball wide - why some lads can't get that through their heads I don't know! Anyway, congratulations to Ashton - always strong in defence and sounds like you did the basics much better than we did.
Also believe an Ashton lad was taken from the field in an ambulance with a knee injury, hope it's not too serious.

Ashton Bears A 10-8 Bury Broncos. If I'm honest Cronus I thought Bury played better today than they have in the last 2 times we've played you. Having said that I think our pace and defence forced you into the one out stuff. Each to his own I suppose. A much improved performance from us and although we weren't spectacular I thought we were always in control. Another decent game though between two evenly matched sides, think there's been 2 points between us over 3 games now.
Just heard from our lad & he's dislocated his right knee. Will only know about ligament damage when the swelling goes down.

Travelled with 12 lads unavailable and still managed a solid win. 16-0 up at HT then hardly saw the egg in the second half and had to settle for breakaway tries to seal the game. Credit Chester and their pack for continuing to run all game.
Next up Ashton at home where we will certainly be looking to continue our recent good form, but will be without dipper who is off on his jollys!
Solid enough performance from us today. Always in control of the game and probably should have put Ashton away today. Their lads ran hard all day, conditions unfavourable for both sides so nice to get a clean sheet and jump above Ashtoj in the league!
