Beat Norland a few weeks back in a very tough encounter - the score escapes me now though. - Have to say the behaviour of players and fans of theirs was a disgrace. Which resulted in a £1000 fine for them and 4 players getting banned for 32 games between them.

We had to drop out of our play-off semi against Hunslet due to not being able to get enough players for one reason or another which was a very sad end to the league for us.

But the season was made worth something with a 27-10 win against Ideal last night in the Hull Cup Final.

Seems very weird that our team has finally come to an end after a very good few years for us. The tough decision for me now is whether to join the Skirlaugh open age set up, Myton open age, or leave rugby all together.

If I was you I'd go to Myton, they had a brilliant first season in the NCL2 and got promoted, they have a lot of potential plus you'll have another chance to play at Normy.

Thought they'd give you a tough one. When we played them their speccies were fairly abusive, especially towards the ref but as we were stood on the far side of the pitch nothing kicked off. Their players were fairly full of themselves and were by far the biggest sledgers we've played but we didn't think they were dirty.

What happened?

Be a shame to quit outright but good luck in whatever you decide. Still never managed to get that pint out of you.

Our team still have another year in them. One of our problems last year was that we were fielding a virtual U17 side. Of the 5 or 6 genuine U18s all bar one or two can still play next year.

We're back in for another year at King Cross Park ARLFC.

Lost 32.22 to Normanton this weekend. Good effort with just 13 lads against 17. Have 16 players signed on with another 2/3 to come.

Our U17s are looking shaky for numbers and had to call off this weekend. Might end up merging with us.

Looks like Oulton are in the same division as us dholli12. Looking forward to giving you a good bashing.

haha. Should be a good game. Were looking good for numbers. Were running at around 25-28 players every week so there's some hard decisions for our coach. I think most other teams are looking low on numbers, which is always hard when injuries, holidays, and work commitments come round. Let's just hope all the teams stick it out til the end!
Last week we played Fryston and lost 20-18 but i think were getting the points now because they played two overage players

Cas Panthers pulled out of our game yesterday citing lack of numbers. Apparently quite a few have joined Lock Lane in the National Youth League.

Won comfortably against Elland today. Let in a few silly tries in the end but result was never in doubt. Great young ref today also!. 100% record also after we got the points for the Fryston game!
