Good game in what can only be described as a mud bath.

cadishead rhinos 0 thatto heath 16 seems like a shock .but the truth is there 2nd had no game and the team who we played in our last game who were thatto them selfs didnt show today they sent there 2nd team down not single player from the last game played oh sorry the was one pudding.all that said was a great game 6 0 with 10 then to go it was next try the winner i had no doubt but it was thatto again who scored followed shortly after by another.oh yes we have put in a written report so its not just talk watch this space .il finish with one word tossers

not a sore loseing mate there plenty of people moaning about thatto being dropped in to this league .lets hope there poop house ways dont cost any one a promotion and i bet next they av no team or will get dicked next week.at the end of the day they played eligable players

Jus out of interest, wondered what a few of the lower league guys think about the St Maries situation.

St Maries (1st team) have resigned from the conference and now all their players are eligible for their NWC Div 2 side. Yesterday they played Dalton (a top 5 club IMO) and beat them 50-0. How would you feel if your club were in Div 2? For my club Halton Farnworth it wont make much difference IMo as we have lost 5 games already (games we should have won) but if you were chasing promotion and had to play St Maries twice in the 2nd half of the season you would be pretty vexed off wouldn't you!!

you sound like youd rather have no game than a fixture against thatto. if they hadnt been put in that league then thered be about 9 teams left in it.

surely a game against them is better than a week off.

dont get me wrong the game was much needed and it was a very good game with a cracking brawl and the better team won. what is upsetting me is the fact it was the 2nd team not the third team i mean for god sake the 2nd team coach was running the touch line there own speccies comfirmed the fact it was there 2nd team.there in the 1st div for a reason and were in the 4th for reason completely differant standard and to think there 3rd team prob wont win another game this season pisses me off royal.thats all am gonna say on the matter now as it is in the hands of nwc were the points and punishment go..thankfully are season is still in our hands.

In short it's unfair but thats the NWC lot for you. I'm still bemused by the rules they seem to selectivily apply to teams. I'm presuming that next year St Maries will get a spot in the prem or 1st division , it might be fair but it's better than the other option of sticking them in a lower division where they beat most teams by cricket scores like happened to us at Hindley
