I am led to believe Castleford are hoping and praying for the Newmarket project to fail. They have alternative options to Glasshoughton and a future proposal will be to ground share with Featherstone at your ground should the Glasshoughton site fail. I mean a redeveloped post office Rd meeting super league requirements. I would like to ask the question are Featherstone supporters in favour of such a proposal. It would be very sad should we loose a super league team from all three great rugby league areas ie Wakefield Castleford and Featherstone . I would hope common sense would prevail and a new identity should be created rather than being selfish at all costs with an attitude like bugger you we are dead any how.

I will watch any team as long as it's played at Post Office road and the team is called Featherstone Rovers RLFC! I hope that our BoD would welcome any club wishing to utilise our facilities at the Big Fella's Stadium and charge them appropriate rent etc where our club could use the opportunity to clean up on the secondary incomne! I don't feel any of this "love in" for any superleague club particulary as my club is so disadvantaged by said league and as overwhelming undisputed champions are not allowed to take part in this years SL comp!! I'm hoping that when our stadium is redeveloped it will meet criteria for SL and we can gain a licence. I have become so disenchanted from the game and the lack of support for teams outside of SL over the last decade and a half, I really don't give a toss about SL and any of it's member clubs! I of course do NOT speak for featherstone rovers RLFC or any of it's other fans!!

SOMEBODY SAID that it couldn’t be done But he with a chuckle replied That “maybe it couldn’t,” but he would be one Who wouldn’t say so till he’d tried. So he buckled right in with the trace of a grin On his face. If he worried he hid it. He started to sing as he tackled the thing That couldn’t be done, and he did it!

Super league and the RFL can go to helll as far as im concerned, they are doing there damdest to destroy the game underneath, the RFL are doing there best to destroy the amateur game as well, by-passing every protocol in existence to suit there selfish aim of making us all play summer. Wouldnt bother me if everyone of the self made elite 14 clubs went bust.

It does my stack in gingdong. Life below superleague is something the "elite clubs" in reality want sod all to do with until there's a crisis then there's a "we're all in this together" mantra eminating from some of those clubs!!! If anyone one of those clubs goes t1ts up I really wouldn't give a toss, pretty much as how I felt when crusaders went down the gary glitter!! Sod em! - They either meet the increasingly ridiculous criteria OR they don't! If they don't, (and lets face it, they all agreed to this system I loathe so much), then they can spend the rest of eternity down here with us!!!! Sod em!!

Have to agree with the Fev fans, both ourselves and Cas have had plenty of time to get ourselves sorted. If we don't deliver and get kicked out of SL we only have ourselves to blame!!
PLus, why should Fev help us? They are one of the more likely teams to replace us if Fev's groundworks go ahead soon.
Nah, don't blame the Fevvers opinion on the matter at all!!
