Very well played last night you can be very proud of your team and coach. You showed why the CC can be such a good competition when spirit and effort when combined with positive rugby can be the match for last years Cup holders. You came so close.

One of the best Cup ties for a good few years, proper mud and blood rugby league. I was made up for the Fev fans that it was a close game, but obviously happy with the win. Credit to your fans for turning out in force too, the atmosphere in the pub and at the ground was great.

Good luck for the rest of the season :)

Warrington led 16-2 in Saturday's Grand Final, but their joy was short-lived as Wigan roared back to win the Super League title and extend the Wire's 58-year wait to be champions

Just watched the game here in oz, well done Fev, most enjoyable game I've watched in ages. Almost forgotten what's it's like to watch players playing for pride in their club rather than a large pay cheque.

That was a step back in time for me. Just like the old days I miss so bloody much. What an atmos. What a game. We had a go and got stuck in, in what you rightly described as a proper old style blood n snot game of rugby. I noted at the hooter that although our lads had completely ran out of fuel and even the walk back to the changing room looked a step too far for some of them, playing a game of that style on a pitch like that completely drained them too.
Nothing but positives for me last night. Great to see the Wigan fans turning out to support their team against championship opposition.

Well done Fev. It was a great game and reminded everyone what is good about the Challenge Cup. Good luck for the rest of the season.

To see part-timers raise their game so well against the supposed 'elite' of the game was brilliant.

Thought your forwards and halves were excellent. What an amazing effort from Dickens.

Totally agree with all this. Would love to have seen Dickens sort Hock out for the spitting incident, he'd have torn him a new one.

Cracking game fellas, it was like a David v Goliath.....or Pride v Pay cheque.

Your guys had absolute bucket loads of pride and it was a refreshing sight to see in the modern game.

The saying 'bent as a 9 bob note' has now been dropped.....corrected phrase is 'bent as the RFL!'
