This Saturday (October 30th) from 10 onwards, the Rugby League Collectors' Federation are holding a programme fair in the Cats Bar at Belle Vue, to which all Rugby League fans are invited. On show to look at or buy will be a large collection of programmes, magazines, books, DVDs, badges, photographs, items of clothing and more. Then at 12.30 there will be an auction. Admittance is free to what is always a very sociable event. Also in attendance will be the author Phillip Howard signing copies of his first novel "Braver Than All the Rest. A Mother Fights For Her Son" written against a strong and moving Rugby League background.
Visit //www.geofflee.net for details of my novels 'One Winter', 'One Spring', 'One Summer' 'One Autumn' 'Two Seasons'. and "Three Good Years" All six feature Rugby League against a humourous Lancashire/Yorkshire background and are inspired by the old saying about work: "They could write a book about this place. It would be a best seller."
