In the 17th of March issue of the Westmorland Gazette there is an article titled "Isolated People in South Cumbria urged to do this". It did not mention any rugby league connections although it did show a photo of me wearing a Saints jersey and holding the Rugby League Challenge Cup. This indicates that there is plenty rugby league material in six novels that I have written since starting writing as a hobby in 1988 The article more importantly said that anyone who might be interested in writing a novel based on their own life and times should contact me at wgeofflee@gmail. and I will send them three pages of advice on how to get started. They wrote that the pages were called Geoff's North Western Platform. However I have also written three similar sheets aimed more at rugby league enthusiasts. That one is called Geoff's RL Platform. Please feel free to request both versions if you have any relatives or neighbours who may be self isolating and keen to have something interesting to do. Have a look also at my web site. Visit //www.geofflee.net for details of my novels 'One Winter', 'One Spring', 'One Summer' 'One Autumn' 'Two Seasons'. and "Three Good Years" All six feature Rugby League against a humourous Lancashire/Yorkshire background and are inspired by the old saying about work: "They could write a book about this place. It would be a best seller."
