R.I.P. Heartfelt condolences to everyone who has been touched by this terrible tragedy in Cumbria. All the "rugby family" will have you in their thoughts.

Absolutely terrible. That's not strong enough I suppose. My thoughts are with the people of Whitehaven. It may not be a big thing in the scheme of things, but Barrow and Whitehaven are scheduled to play on tuesday. Should the game take place, I hope these two local teams can put in a performance to make the region proud and help start the healing process. Once again. This is a terrible event.

I really struggle to comprehend why someone could do such things – when there is no rhyme or reason, no explanation, no motive or justification it simply bewilders me.
Deepest sympathies go out to the friends and families of all those needlessly taken yesterday.

There are some things in life that even when you take time to sit and think about, they still defy all logic. This is one of them. Every time I've been to Cumbria, I've been made to feel like I was one of the locals, one of the 'family' so to speak. The Cumbrian family has been hit hard, the Rugby League family has been hit hard.
My condolences to those that have lost. I have no idea how you are feeling.
Rob.
