We won another game.
That's nice isn't it?
I've decided to just talk to myself on here for a bit, I'm in a mindspace where I'm happy with that, it's cathartic I think.
I can't remember the last time we won both Easter games or five in a row, Mild Rover will answer that, he has time to answer the dull questions like that.

Last Easter SL double was 2015, I think. During one of those rare spells when Campese, Kelly and Lunt all played together. 20-6 vs Hull and 20-16 vs Huddersfield. That made for a run of three wins, as Kelly had got a spectacular brace to help us to victory vs Saints the week before. We had two four-game winning streaks that year… either side of Wembley! (Sorry to mention it).

We lost on Easter Monday vs Toulouse, while in the Championship in 2017. That broke an 11 game winning streak from the start of the season. We also had a run of five wins broken by Toulouse later in the regular season and won our first five games in the Qualifiers before losing by a point vs Catalans. That’ll be the most recent five-in-a-row before the current one. Toulouse broke a four game winning streak for us in the 2018 qualifiers.

If we beat Wakefield for 4 in a row in SL regular rounds, I’m not sure that won’t be a first for the club. Sorry for the double negative, but you get my drift. Edit - wrong, we won five SL games in a row twice in 2009.

I absolutely love that, and Grandmaster Mild Rover.
I have some insanely busy few days but will come back at some point.

Evening fellas, not been here for ages but it’s quite painful to read the pair of you having to prop upthis place on your own.thought a little help might be needed…

Anyway, 24 games on the bounce was unbelievable, even if it was at Championship level, then bloody Leigh ruined it all in Blackpool. Even now I still contend that Scott Murrell’s hand never touched the turf and we got robbed.

Lovely of you to pop by. :)

You just missed Dum-Dum by a few days. WormInHand popped up on the Hull forum the other day, I saw as well.

If it carries on like this I might start a chat thread!

Hey guys
Wakefield fan just passing through. Thought I'd stop and say hi.

Apart from the result I had a really good day yesterday.
Great stadium. I hope we can make something like this now we look to be on our way. You guys are turning up in numbers too.

I was in the posh bit for dinner. Fish and chips were excellent and Parcell was there for a chat. Recognised a few of the older Rovers players too.
Went over to the beer tents after the game which is quite impressive. Some good beer, burger and chat. We even had the entertainment of a Rover getting proper stroppy with a steward over who knows what. His mate rescued in the end.

One thing I wanted to ask about.
In the corner there was a trailer or something with a load of caricatures charting the history of rovers. Really impressive but wondered why it was tucked out of the way
What's it used for? Might start a conversation about doing one of them at Wakefield.

Anyway, best of luck for rest of season.
