Post subject:  A possible strange story from Hull.

During the 1970s I worked for Reckitt and Colman at their Wilmington works. In 1976 during my last month there I got to know a charge hand who worked in a large warehouse. He told me some bizarre tales about things that happened to him when he was on the night shift and always when he was on his own. Others who knew him told me that he was quite sane and always consistent with his tales which could not be easily dismissed.
Since those days, I have written six novels all set against a strong rugby league background. (More details on my web site at http://www.geofflee.net).
I am now thinking of writing one more novel and looking round for more stories from my own past. I know that 1976 is a long time ago but is there anybody still around who once worked at Reckitt's or had older relatives who worked there. who can shed any light on what might lead to an unusual story line for me to develop. .
Much of the content in all my novels is inspired by the old saying about work that "They could write a book about this place. It would be a best seller".
The other two firms that I worked at in Hull as a draughtsman were Blue Circle Cement ( Earles Cement then} where nothing ever happened and Myson Radiators where plenty did.
