Surely it's time that KR got him signed up, he's worth it just on his last two outings. We have signed up Keinhorst for another year so should surely sign up Dagger. |

He would have to play back up to Coote, but he can also play other positions which TS likes to have as an option. On a side issue, I was in the East Stand on Friday, what a noise, my ears were ringing at times, the support was brilliant. Sky said it, that CP is earning a reputation as probably the most atmospheric in SL, and they are not wrong. I've been to many grounds, and yes I am biased, but do think that when the Rovers supporters ramp the noise up it's something else compares to others. No doubt our neighbours disagree, but they always do. Back to Dagger, get him signed, or someone else will. |

It's good news for us, I'm not so sure it's good news for him. I was very pleased when we signed him from Wire, he was a very hot young prospect who came over here as his pathway was blocked and he needed game time, I don't think it's really worked out for him. Yes he's had injuries but I think a change of club might have done him good, Smith has obviously persuaded him that this is the right decision for him and when he turns into Georgie "Ginner" Fairburn v2.0 I'll be the first to be pleased to be wrong, as well as my Mum because she loved Gorgeous Georgie. |

Dagger seems like a good kid, still young, still learning, I'm sure he'll get plenty of game time over the next two seasons whilst learning from Coote |

Dagger is only 22. In a couple of year time he 'll be only 24 whilst Coote will be 34 and likely hanging up his boots. Dagger can only improve during those two years while learning of Coote and also been available to cover should Coote get injured. Dagger can also cover other positions so is likely to get plenty of game time . |

He does look sharp, maybe he should have a stab at it. |
