Rhinos Win Big Against KR Again





Six days after the Leeds Rhinos demolished Hull KR in the quarter finals of the Challenge Cup, the two sides met again at the Halliwell Jones Stadium in Warrington for a highly unusual Thursday afternoon fixture.

The Rhinos were looking to cement their fourth spot, and edge a little closer to the top three, in the new format league table. The Rhinos were strong favourites after last weekends results with Hull KR having been given a fourteen-point start on the coupon.

Hull KR coach Tony Smith made eleven changes to his side ahead of todays clash as they looked to turn things around, Rhinos coach Agar also made changes as he rested a few players ahead of a busy upcoming schedule of games.

Another defeat, but I am quite encouraged that Tony Smith has honestly and accurately assessed our problems in the e-programme notes. No rubbish about just needing to be more consistent. An acknowledgement that needing to be at our best to win does not offer a solution and is in fact the underlying problem.

Finding the solution will be tough, but imo at least we’ll be looking in the right place, based on that.

After reading the reports one of the players we need to get rid of is Trought their must be better fish in the sea :x

Looks like your GF will be against the mighty FC at end of October - finishing bottom can affect morale
Shame it can’t be at the KC with a crowd so your fans can cry all the way home on the bus
