According to Humberside "#HullKR are still unable to train at their KCOMM Craven Park Stadium in the aftermath of a floodlight tower collapse last week. The ground remains closed and pre season training is taking place at the Hull University Sports Ground."
Assume this is incorrect as functions are still going ahead? Have HSE tests been completed?

We have an Xmas party next week at the ground but its in the RM stand. Was told by someone at the club today it was just those in the legends lounge which are cancelled.

Information about this incident seems remarkedly sketchy (I don't read HDM).
Which Flood light was it, did it fall onto building or the pitch?

I believe it was one of the floodlights at the scoreboard end came down, onto the pitch. The reason the ground is closed is that the HSE and the floodlight installers have to run through a number of tests on the remaining floodlights as well as re-install.

Not ideal by any stretch, but I am sure training can be adapted and other facilities found - Uni 3g they have trained there before aint they?

Ah, so it might have been one of the older pipe/scaffold style ones rather than the newer solid towers...?

No it was one of the new ones and it looks to have been 1 in the north end of the ground. There are some photos doing the rounds of if on the pitch.

It wasn’t at the North end it’s the one at the south west corner and blew directly onto the pitch.

For the whole stadium, offices and function rooms to be closed certainly implies a very serious state of affairs. Who is responsible for Health and Safety of the ground and facilities. Is it is or the council?

There are pictures of it on the daily mirror website in their RL section.

Hardly surprising they've shut the whole ground as the other lights will have been designed / installed to the same specs and calcs as this one, looks like someone in the design and construct company have got this majorly wrong.
