As it stands now, what would your starting 17 look like?

Dagger
Shaw
Vaivai
Keinhorst
Hall
Maguire
Atkin
Garbutt
Lunt
Jewitt
Linnet
Tomkins
Greenwood

Lawler
Lannon
Mulhern
Masoe

Missing out - addy, scruton, johnson, lee, hauraki, oakes, crooks,

Question marks around lunt's fitness, and the bench spots in particular. Also whether he see's linnet playing centre or second row. I tell you one thing, we are not a small team this year. I'd also be happy to swap most of the people missing out with starting 17 and you don't feel as though it weakens the team massively. Hopefully a top quality halfback to come in and things are looking good. I would of personally liked a winger, but understand why TS did not want to waste a quota space or big chunk on one when we have 3 guys who are all great finishers

Think linnet will play centre we do seem to have strength in depth need another half though as Blair isn’t coming back so we can’t use him to slot in

The recent additions are excellent and it's refreshing to hear Tomkins share that our target is 5th at least whilst Linnett talks winning the title. About time.
The 3rd half back is vital however. Lee is needed at hooker with Lunt's serious illness recovery. So with Mcguire's age and injury record and Blair not being offered a new deal another half of quality is critical.

With whats fit id go with this.

Dagger
Hall
Keinhorst
Linnet
VaiVai
Atkin
Maguire
Mulhern
Lee
Garbutt
Tomkins
Greenwood
Lannon
subs
Lawler
Masoe
Scruton
Addy

I think weve got possibly our strongest pack for a good while and a good mix in the backs, just needs that halfback and were looking good or certainly better.

Probably go for that team myself. But Vaivai is a centre, and should not be near the wing, I’d put Shaw on the wing and Vaivai his centre.
It’s been a long time since we’ve been blessed with so many good centres.i have renewed optimism for this coming season, no reason why we can’t do a Wakefield next year.
Just a back up half and I think we’re ready to go.

I put Vaivai on the wing for size really, Shaw and Hall will score lots of tries but are lacking in kick return IMHO so thats why i suggested Vaivai. Im pretty sure our starting centres will be Vaivai and Linnet.
I like the Wakey comparison too. Heres hoping

Vai Vai Linnett Crooks all would be above Keinhorst in pecking order as I see it. Still 4 very good centres and the likes of Tompkins can cover. Another hooker and half or one top class player who can play both positions and we are looking good. Props and back row has size and depth. Reasons to be cheerful

Shaw has to play, his goalkicking could win matches vaivai, would be the one i'd leave out, started great, but was invisible but for short bursts, and then showed us what he can do,and looked to have added a bit of timber towards the season end.Its a tough call which only can be a good sign for us,hopeful for a much improved season.
