I suppose the post from Frosties (see link below) could be interpreted only as JK leaving the Rhinos has been confirmed, but given the title of the thread... anyway, you can decide for yourself, and I'll query it now.

Hopefully, he and the rest of his current team can help ours secure his employment with us for 2019!

Good signing and I expect Sinfield would have wanted to retain him had he not already signed for us.

Keinhorst is a decent centre but I don't think I'd put him in above VaiVai or Crooks. Not sure if Crooks has been signed though?Hauraki will stiffen up the defence on his side so long as he stops giving away daft penalties. Lannon is the best signing of the 3 imo.Young hungry, ferocious in defence and with Mulhearn and Mose that's 3 very good props.Scruton is retiring I think? Will be interesting to see who leaves in coming week but we have few key imports to bring in so it's a much better situation than last year and looking forward to who we actually sign

Sheens confirmed Crooks is signed for 2019 in his interview yesterday

Crooks defence has really improved, doesn;t miss many tackles at all. Attack is a bit mundane compared to when at all but defo a good player to have in the squad. With 3 centres in there now i'd like to see a Ken Sio type winger.

That would leave you X name, oakes, shaw, hall. Can't argue with hall's try scoring record in this stint, great goal kicker and versatile. Worth keeping on

Thanks, didn't catch that. Guess the squad numbers will tell us Sheens thinking but id have Crooks and VaiVai as 3 and 4. He may put Vai Vai to wing then Keinhorst centre? Personally I think it will have cost a fair packet to get him to leave Leeds and he will have been promised first 17 I'd expect? Not a great signing for me but hope to be proved wrong

Don’t think he would of cost a packet or been promised first 17 he couldn’t get into Leeds team on a regular basis even with there injuries and was shipped out on loan

Vaivai isnt a winger, with his step he needs to be inside and putting a faster bloke away.

Depends what type of winger Sheens wants?Although I agree I'd rather see Vai Vai at centre. The back 5 as it stands for next year will come from Oakes Shaw Hall (if signs)Crooks Qunilan(Unlikely to play)Keinhorst Wallis Dagger. Salter many people say is leaving? Shaw Hall Crooks Dagger all can play FB or wing and Atkin also factors depending on who else is signed? Just trying to second guess how Sheens will line up?

VaiVai would be wasted on the wing imo. He has shown good footwork and great hands.

At the start of 2018 season our Centre options were Heff, Minns and Salter

2019 is looking like VaiVai, Crooks and Keinhorst. This looks materially stronger to me.
