The first of the five game run in starts tonight.

Sheens has named the strongest 19 in months.

I'm hopeful but we must now prove that the only reason for recent form has been because of the injuries and start winning.

Whilst I would of course love us to make the top 8, getting some winning form back is more important, especially if we end up in the m8s yet again.

There is no chance you'll go down. salford and widnes are really poor and wouldn't be surprised if they both were relegated. You may end up above salford before the split but either way you will be fine in the middle 8's

Well that was the 1st of 3 must wins out of the way. A fantastic performance played with patience and intelligence (up until the last 15 when the cue went on the rack). Gotta day that the team looks so much more effective when Lunt is on the park and Mags brought the experienced management we’d missed.

Lunt, mulhearn and masoe made the difference 20 mins either side of half time, before and after we were bang average. Why are we playing with blair at centre and salter on the wing!! omg.

Salter on the wing was a bad idea didn’t work at all Blair went ok agree the first 20 we dominated yet we’re 4-0 down didn’t seem to have a clue near the line Lunt changed it we went with Lunt coming on after 20 mins once and it worked so we seem to do it all the time now I’d like him to play the full 80

I agree. Do you think it may be a method of prolonging his career?

First 20 minutes Tommy Lee on the field and we weren't sharp enough. Last 15 minutes when Tommy Lee was on the field we lost direction. I may not be a genius, but I think there might be something in common there.

Lunt is so important to Rovers there is no doubt about that but 2 games into his return from a long absence he will be grateful to Lee for doing the tough stuff prior to him taking to the field.

The 'good' middle period also coincided with an almost unplayable spell from Mose Masoe and a superb 2 try assist from Robbie Mulhern. Those 2 in tandem really are some force. We need Lee Jewitt to supplement them he was sadly missing with a back problem after making a really impressive return at Cas.

Ideally we start with Jewitt he is one tough hombre with go forward and aggression and then bring on Masoe and Mulhern. Scruton is clearly playing on jabbed up but still decent as a 4th prop.

With McGuire now back directing matters, Vaivai looking as good as any centre in Super League, Quinlan consistently good and Atkin growing as a Super League player...well I won't make any silly claims other than to say that with a reasonably healthy squad I think we are under rated.

One thing is certain, if Lawler wasn't injured, Lee wouldn't get near the team on a weekly basis.

Huddersfield won 5 on bounce and expected making it 6. We outplayed them and showed speed and skills because the brains of Lunt McGuire Quinlan were given time on the back of the pack actually going forward. We looked slick and if Carney and Heff were fit then we would have converted more of those chances. Hudds are no mugs and we beat them fair n square. Taai was a miss for them but Mamo and Brough haven't been great this year from what I've read. We missed Jewitt Heff Carney Lawler (Minns<Vai Vai) so I'd say farely similar make up? Anyway i was entertained i wasnt frozen and left very happy..On a side note watched Saints v Wakey which was sn excellent game but P Clarke was very positive about The Rovers.Nice to be liked.
