Elliot Wallis dropped for Shaw. Wallis has looked the real deal in the games he's played, and strong i defence. don't see why dropping Wallis is a good idea

He’s shown some promise and I definitely look forward to seeing more of him in the future. However, he was hardly error-free vs Wigan and is probably a little lucky we won despite that or he might be on the end of comments about his naivety or lack of concentration.

Can see Dagger being dropped for Hughes too.

No you missed nothing. I meant Smith. He'll start and Lee to the halves. We have a better chance with Dagger playing but he's playing a long game with the young players.
Hope I'm wrong Friday and Dagger misses the next 2.

Thought Smith looked very young in the minute he played Ok if they are good enough they are old enough but not convinced a youth hooker is what we need?

As MR said Wallis made a couple of blunders that could of been costly he will be a good player in time but we have more experienced wingers available

Sheens was luke warm in praise of Dagger after the Wigan game.

I expect Lee at half back and Smith at 9. Dagger to sit this one out.

I still don’t understand the idea of the Lee/Atkin swap. Sure, it may develop Atkin as a player long term as is the justification used by sheens but surely what the move actually suggests is that 1 or both of the players are not good enough in the role they were signed up to play.
Now, seeing as Atkin got called up for the knights on the back of his performances at 7 I think it’s logical to assume that Lee isn’t offering what sheens wants from a hooker.
But then if that’s the case why start him there and Atkin in the bench vs the pies?
As the thread title states ....... baffling
