I thought it was long overdue to bring this back.

I love Magic Weekend, really missed it last year. Heading up tomorrow until Sunday night. Tomorrow I will be mostly drinking around the Quayside.

Any fellow Robins up tomorrow?

I'm swinging between certain we will win and then that we will mess it up again.Weakest fc side in years and still not confident .

I’m headed up tomorrow, going to take in the Thunder v bulls match. There is so much up in the air about the squads, no one can call the game confidently. I never feel confident about any Derby and this one really is a toss of a coin job

Bookies have us at+8 with only Widnes given a bigger handicap all weekend, so they are clearly not falling for the injury spin sponsored by the local media.

In other news, I’ve heard Rob D’Arcy has re-signed and is playing on Sunday.

Tbf Craig, it’d be a bit weird if you were confident in a team that has won three of 13, all against the league’s other weakest teams. Metaphorically we’ve come to a gunfight armed with a butter knife this year. Perhaps inevitably.

With our depth largely eaten away, we’re down to relying on stoicism.

Looking at their likely 17, their pack still looks strong. So, as is the case most weeks, we’ll likely struggle to secure a foothold in the game. While not downplaying the impact of their injuries and suspensions, on their board they seem to be exhilarated by the relative novelty of adversity. It is harder for us not to simply feel wearied by ours, and my fear is that’ll translate to the dressing rooms too.

Rousing posts like this will help our cause no end, obviously!

I'll make more of a decision when we see the squads. If we don't have McGuire I say no chance, if we do then we could sneak a win.

it will probably be our weakest set of backs in 2 years, but it still contains the likes of Griffin, Shaul and Connor, the type of players we have been desperate for a few years ago,

The pack should be still very strong, you could easily exploit us out wide as we will have two experienced wingers, a retired centre and a halfback who hasn't played SL before.

I expect us to play a really tight game and you throw the ball out wide early.

50/50 game IMO.

Aye it's hard to call. Lots of unquantifiables for Sunday. But bookies giving us 8 start and they are generally accurate on their coupons. A true 50/50 game imo

So just the 10 first teamers missing from our squad yet Hull are the team decimated by injuries.
