First time I,ve had to have a proper look at this guy. He,s got it. Offers a real threat and him and Carney could really hurt the opposition which is just what the team needs. Really strong and has a step. Not sure what deal he,s got,is it just for this season? but if this is an example of what he offers I would want him signed up longer and quick. |

Agree, I was at the game today (Hull fan) and was impressed by him. It just shows the quality of the NRL when a player of his calibre is probably nowhere near first grade. It also shows that there must be a hell of a lot of players in the reserve grade who could do a job in SL. Bringing the ball back Carney was excellent but lets himself down with basic errors. On the game itself Rovers much be disappointed with the result. They dominated large parts of the second half but didn't have the craft to breakdown Leeds defence which was outstanding. On that performance you have a good chance of finishing top eight. The referee didn't lose you the game. He made bad calls for both teams. |

Does look like a fonua sort of signing, unknown quantity, he could be lethal in SL. |

Left edge sort. VaiVai and Carney are big and strong. Leeds didn't take them on too often. |
