Hearing a lot of rumours that Assem Allam is purchasing Hull KR for £4m. Some questions:
Is it true, a "no smoke without fire" scenario?
If it is true, how would you feel about it?

£4m would clear the decks financially, which has to be a good thing. But much has been made of ownership being secure in the hands of a lifetime fan of the club, which would then not be the case. Also, with Allam's declared appetite for a merger and claims by some Rovers fans that AP is just a front man for Allam at FC, could we all be supporting the same team before much longer?

Interesting times.

But then why burden this new merged club with a bill of £8m for a new stand we clearly wont need, we'd use the KC surely.

Surely the merged club will be playing at Craven Park? The liability on the stand is "only" £2mish, isn't it?

I think it's more a case that he is going to take over the club and the debt, not pay the debt off.

If he paid £4m for the club, there would still be a near £4m debt, surely he'd buy the club for a few quid, Hudge would exit stage left with no debt and AA would promise us all these extravagant plans which wouldn't materialise.

Thats the idea, play the merged club at Craven park hence the new south stand been financed by the Allams, the new team would play in play in red and white and nicknamed the Robins.
The KC will be reserved solely for soccer.

The other secret board with all the best posh people on (like Inception, this)
Facebook
The HDM comments section (made that up as I've not read it) but there's someone that posts every day that AP is Allam's lapdog, so must be referenced somewhere)
