Couldn't make it up to Hull today for the first time in a few years. A combination of trains being disrupted and apathy at not seeing us win away for a very lomg time.

So simple question - how bad were we?

Didn't gat an answer when I asked Radford how much he paid Stokes to save his job.

not as bad as the ref

joking aside, front rowers packed a bit of punch in periods, kicking game was poor, play was broken a fair bit due to penaltys and mistakes. did'nt really get much decent field position.

HOW on earth do you get NILLED at Wembley ?
When your coach isn't a winner at heart and Gentle is not a winner at heart .
We were a pub team
I coached for a long time and we won 95% of games because winning is a mental state driven by a desire to CRUSH an opposition. Did FC look as though they wanted to Crush Wigan and strangle them until they screamed ? NO
RL is a tough tough game and Maylord She-dong you have no clue
In fact don't ever ever reply to any of my posts again

Your first try baffled me, I was under the impression that you were short and he'd called the tackle and 20m restart but as the players peeled off he gave the try, something to look for on HKRTV.

Your second try was a great tackle break, albeit on Welham who doesn't stick often.

I was worried when you were throwing the ball about but you either dropped it or the defence snuffed it. A couple of times your right centre went for the intercept and it nearly came off and I thought the little right winger should have backed himself for the corner late on, he was rapid.

We seemed to get you out of your own half with silly penalties, we should cut that out.

Pretty bad, Karl "Cheese "N" Temata gave it a go but really it was your senior player in Randall, Kaufusi and Dorn that let you down.

Caro looked a prospect, was disappointed not to see more of Krasniqi as I like the look of him.

Gower struggled without a partner.

You played ok on the back of penalties, but not much else, Dixon was pretty good, looks very exciting. I'm afraid it looks like been another long hard season for your guys again.

Ah, think I must have mistaken Bryant for him, wondered what had happened to his mullet.

Just me who thought we were pretty poor in a very stop start game then? Anyone in the top 6 would of beat us fairly well if we played like that. London are just a woeful defensive side without much idea in attack.
so the panel took the same view as your excellent assessment.
I agree with you.

Dum-dum I think you must have the tries mixed up?

The first try was the Shannon 1 on 1 that they regathered and went in under the posts. The second try which is the one I think you meant was on the line and clearly seen on the Sky footage that was shown at 9pm last night. The third try was as you say a tackle bust as Welham was expecting the pass to the centre (his man in fairness). I may be mistaken but I think one of the markers was left on the floor so was a man short of cover anyway.

red al, you may have been joking but in seriousness James Child didn't do a bad job at all and gave the correct calls 95% of the time. He tried to let the game flow but he was officiating two poorly disciplined teams. People shout for offside but the moment the ball touches the floor (not the foot) the ball is in play and so fans may think the players are offside but really they are just quick out the blocks. Agreed there are times when players push their luck and get away with it but then if he penalised everything that he could we'd still be watching the game now! A few forward passes that could have been pulled up too although he and the linesmen had better views of those than you or I. Would suggest he was relatively fair in his officiating and as stated above by Bishops finger when we were poorly disciplined the Londoners looked pretty good.

Clearly the injuries had a major effect on the game but I would have fully expected a win from Rovers no matter which side London put out there.

We're coming to make some noise!
