I've heard them all now - if we switch the Hull game in July to the KC, why not open the Craven Park bars and charge folk to watch the game there?

Why would the club want to do that? Are we deliberately trying to make ourselves look stupid on tv, or pampering to the small minded who can find their way to places like Featherstone, but are unable to make a 4 mile cross city journey without having a crisis.

Long way to go when you have a successful greeting card business empire to keep on track.

If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

I think Sandercock will want the July derby played at 'fortress' MS3CP.

By the look on Hudge et al's faces on Good Friday I think they will agree.

By my reckoning, it will all depend on the May derby encounter - square it up and it will guarantee a bumper crowd at KC. Go 2-0 down and it'll be MS3CP.

You would imagine that the best financial option for Rovers is to sell out the KC. AP has said FC would have to benefit financially on a switched fixture. So everyone wins, don't they? Just some to a greater extent than others.

You could easily argue that you already have benefited financially by the more attractive Easter fixture being switched to your home game.

If you only knew the POWER of the dark side.

I would have hoped that giving Hull a home Easter fixture was the financial incentive offered to Hull for agreeing to any switch later in the year.

I won't be very happy if it's at the KC

If more people get to wtch the game from both side and we make a few £££ I'd be happy.

Is that aimed at me, cos I shall be going to the KC? It was an option for those who will not go to the KC, even if it's only 500, charge a fiver, pie and peas and get the bar takings, it's money Rovers wouldn't get if those 500 went to a pub or sat at home and watched it.

The club thought it was worth looking into.

Couldn't give a stuff if we play on Beverley Westwood.

In fact, I quite like that idea haven't been for years, could get a Burgess' ice cream.

I once did a cross country run on Beverley Westwood in the snow. I was sick at the finishing line.
