Thanks for this little Joe, I'll check my diary. I don't actually keep a diary if you were wondering. Will you be there?
Do you know who The Kinks were? They're before my time but I got a hold of some of their stuff. I particularly like how "All Day And All Of The Night" and "You Really Got Me" are practically the same song yet it doesn't matter.
If I can't make it I'll probably just stick a note in the next collection box I see.

"Ape Man" was their best track.
If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

Yes i will be there to help my mam & dad, and the Kinks are one of my fave bands, "waterloo Sunset" my fave tune!!
Kinked are a good local band, usually their first spot is 60/70's hits then their second spot is all the Kinks hits - they will be good entertainment for a fiver, they've been around for about ten years
