After a pretty bad start where do us Rovers fans think well finish?
I said 7th place before the season started but reckon now well be battling for 8th.

Hopefully some big players coming back will help settle us down and see us start to pick up some points.

Depends if you get Green back, if you do and he links with Dobbo I reckon you will easily be 7/8th, if not it could be a short season.

Hard to say. 6th at best, 10th at worst I reckon. Next few games will give us a better idea, but I think we know roughly. We'll get some important players back soon, but might well lose others. I'm just going to enjoy it for what it is and not worry overly - the North Stand is going up and our club-trained players are showing some good signs. The club is hopefully getting on a steadier footing (without wishing to tempt fate!), even if the team is a bit erratic.
We did lose a few wise old heads - Vella, Newton and Briscoe. Paea, Mika and McDonnell are very different types of players. And tbh, I welcome that - we were rarely spectacular under Morgan in SL. But it comes with a downside.

For me, best case scenario is 6th and thats if we get Green and Galea back and improve us to the level we hope they will. Plus I would hope that over the course of the season our erratic nature of displays i.e. Win against Hudds, then lose to Cas is happening less. That erratic nature needs to be massively reduced within games as well, that old chestnut consistency.

Worst case is we finish 9th and just miss out on the playoffs. If our defence continues to struggle as it does at the moment and we dont cut this out soon, we will lose too many games and be too far behind the 8 even if we do turn it around somewhat come the end of the season.

I remain hopeful, a turning point may be a week we win a game and Sandy compliments a ref decision

Jesus, a mod is around today. :CURTAIN:

As disappointing as some of our results have been, we also have to maybe gave CS and the team chance to develop. It may turn out that we don't make the top 8 this year. That said, I do think we should be more than good enough to reach the play offs.

Of course, in some quarters our progression can only be monitored against Hull FC and we have to finish above them at all costs, to satisfy these half-freps. In order to that we're gonna' have to finish 1st. Tall order

7 or 8th would be a good finish in this transitional period. We've had a rough start so I think 6th would be a place to far.

I wouldn't be too disjointed about finishing out of the playoffs in this transitional season which has already been a rough ride with the injuries.

I think Hull fans will be more bothered about where we finish, obsessed.
